Originally an oysterman's house, Franklin Cottage has been fully refurbished by the owners to a high standard of comfort and style. The cottage sleeps 2-6 guests and offers spacious and relaxed accommodation that benefits from its own sunny, south facing garden.

The cottage is located in a quiet street in the conservation area just off Harbour Street, which is know for its many interesting shops, delicatessens, bistros, pubs and galleries. It is only a few minutes stroll to the beach and the working harbour, with its famous fish market and restaurants.

Ground floor: Large open plan lounge and dining room with stripped, painted wooden floors and open fire. Well equipped kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. Bright, sunny garden room with doors to the garden - this room has a double sofa bed and its own cloakroom, and can be used as a second living room or third bedroom.

First floor: A calm, comfortable master bedroom. The second bedroom is ideal for children, it overlooks the garden and has full size bunk beds. Spacious, newly fitted bathroom with shower over bath.

Garden: Private, sunny, south facing garden with large decked seating area. There is also a wendy house at the bottom of the garden.

Colour TV, DVD player and CD player. The owners provide wood for the fire in winter, and there is a wide selection of books and games. Centrally heated so ideal for year round letting. Local street parking.

Departure and arrival times usually 10.00am and 4.00pm but flexible on request.

There is an additional £15 charge for pets.
