The Ventings is an early Victorian fisherman's cottage situated off Harbour Street in the heart of Whitstable. It is within the conservation area and is a few minutes stroll to shops, restaurants, beach and harbour.

The Ventings has two double bedrooms and has been lovingly renovated in a coastal style and retains many period features, and has wooden floorboards throughout. In contrast is the owners' collection of contemporay art from local artists.

Ground floor: Comfortable sitting room with open fire. Light and airy dining room with table seating up to 8, leading into the newly refurbished galley kitchen with large range cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Bathroom with bath and shower attachment, toilet and basin. Enclosed, private small garden with outside seating and barbeque.

First floor: Bedroom 1 with double bed and wardrobe. Bedroom 2 with double bed and wardrobe. Please note: stairs to the first floor are steep and may be unsuitable for people with difficulty in movement/sight.

Features: Colour TV with freeview, DVD player. Centrally heated so ideal for year round letting. On street parking. Travel cot, stair gate, high chair and steriliser available on request.

Departure and arrival times usually 10.00am and 4.00pm but flexible on request.

There is an extra charge for bedlinen and towels for short breaks only. £15 for one bedroom and £25 for two bedrooms.
