york house and beach hutThe nights are getting lighter and it's time to go outside. Come and blow away the winter blues on Whitstable Beach.
York House is a fabulous end of terrrace Victorian cottage right in the heart of Whitstable. Whether you are going to the beach, partaking of some delicacies in our renowned eateries or shopping in our independent shops in the UK’s most diverse High Street (official), nothing is more that a short walk away.
It has off street parking for two cars, which is a real bonus in Whitstable. The house itself has been decorated to a high standard and has some lovely furniture and art works all lovingly chosen by the owners. It looks and feels like a family home & has a some great seaside ‘touches’.
There is a decked courtyard garden with an outside shower for when you return from the beach.
Guests staying at York House have the added opportunity of using the owners lovely beach hut on Tankerton Slopes. The Hut is equipped with the basics to enjoy a picnic lunch (plates, mugs, cutlery, chopping board). There’s a small gas stove to heat water for tea, coffee and water for washing up making a day out on the beach a memorable occasion. The hut is available for £20 per day.

Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms and one room
containing a set of bunk beds and a single bed. Bathroom with bath, basin &
WC.
Sony TV and DVD player. Leather sofas. Two open fires. ‘Shabby chic’ look throughout. Centrally heated so ideal for year round letting. Private parking for 2 cars. Central location.
