Whitstable is the loveliest seaside town on the North Kent coast. It is famous for its oysters, and still has a working harbour, with fishing boats and a number of popular fishmarkets.

It is a unique combination of traditional and contemporary with charming architecture, a thriving arts culture and a rich maritime history. The main streets are full of craft and gift shops, art galleries, delicatessans and fashion boutiques – all interspersed with traditional butchers, fishmongers, bakers and greengrocers.
