Herne bay is a fantastic traditional seaside town offering two miles of sand and shingle beach, colourful beach huts, seafront gardens and its very own pier. The Wildwood Trust is fascinating and offers a wonderful day out for the family as does a sightseeing and history adventure at Recluver Towers & Roman Fort. The seaside museum is well worth a visit and the Central bandstand in the town has regular and varied events throughout the week in the summer months. As well as a host of cafes, shops, pubs, restaurants and amusements on your doorstep, there nearby popular towns of Canterbury and Whitstable are within six miles and both offer a great day out.
As you enter this fantastic beach apartment you arrive in the hallway which leads through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen is well-equipped and has an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine as well as a Nespresso coffee machine so pour yourself a cup and get ready for the day ahead. The dining area, as well as boasting the most incredible sea views has a table and enough seating for up to seven guests should you wish to have an informal snack or a more formal dinner with loved ones. The lounge also with a splendid view of the ocean features two comfortable sofas and an arm chair, also make use of the books and board games provided to keep you and the family entertained. Please note that there is not a TV at the property and it is advisable to bring your own devices if this is something you require. There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom is a king-size room with jack and jill en-suite shower room and WC. The second bedroom is a double room that has sea views and the third bedroom has a single bed and a bunk bed so can sleep three people. There is a family bathroom with bath, shower over bath and WC.
The private balcony is accessed through the French doors in the lounge and what better way to spend some quality time or enjoy some alfresco dining on the table and chairs provided whilst gazing out into the sea.
Jarrahdale is situated on the beach front which can be accessed via a steep grassy slope, or a long set of steps down from the top road. There are steps up to the apartment and down to the beach and hence the property may not be considered suitable for those with disabilities.
Please note that there is no TV at this property, so guests are requested to bring laptops or tablets with them if needed.
