Situated in the pretty coastal town of Whitstable, this bright and welcoming cottage is perfect for a family seeking a pleasant seaside retreat. The property has been thoughtfully updated, beautifully furnished, and decorated with a rustic-style interior. This lovely getaway is ideal for exploring the beach, harbour and high street, which are all within 1 mile. The old Salt Way passes close to the house, making this a great base for keen walkers.

There’s also a bright and relaxing bespoke kitchen/diner – also with a wood burner – which is an ideal space for sharing your favourite meals. There’s a lovely shingle beach and plenty of great walks and bike trails, with Herne Bay (6 miles) close by. A lovely place to stay in Whitstable with everything you need to have a great holiday. Parking was fine and it was great to be in walking distance of everything. The woodburners were brilliant and we really appreciated the wood made available in the cottage.

We enjoyed a thoroughly comfortable and relaxing stay. The location is incredible and whilst there isnt private parking we didnt ever struggle to find parking very near to the property. The Easter treats and fresh flowers were a very thoughtful gesture and very much appreciated. Thank you! Would highly recommend.

Our second stay at Saltway House. A cosy cottage thats deceptively spacious for 2 families. The house is lovely and cosy but we also enjoyed the warmth from the log fire too. The stairs are steep and the wooden floors mean its creaky, especially with kids stomping around, but we think it just adds to its quirky charm.
