Set in the heart of the popular seaside town of Whitstable, this elegant three-storey property makes a lovely holiday base for a family or a group of friends looking for a comfortable retreat close to the sea. This stylishly furnished Victorian cottage is within half a mile of the town’s working harbour and the beautiful shingle beach. There are numerous great independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants nearby, many of them serving the town’s famous oysters.
On arriving in this comfortable cottage, you will find the attractive dining room which makes an ideal space for sharing family meals or planning the day’s events. There’s also a welcoming lounge with a Smart TV so you can enjoy a movie at the end of a great day. A couple of steps lead down to the bright and tastefully furnished galley-style kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you may need. There are two cosy twin bedrooms on the first floor and a double room on the second floor. Please note this bedroom has a sloping ceiling. A patio door leads out from the kitchen into the long and narrow garden which features a lawn and a decked patio where you can relax with a glass of wine or a fantastic al fresco meal.
Known for its fresh, locally caught seafood, which is brought in via the working harbour, the charming town of Whitstable is a quiet but bustling coastal town with plenty of activities to enjoy. Water sports enthusiasts can go kayaking and kite surfing, or you can take long coastal walks to Seasalter (2 miles) and Tankerton (1 mile). Following the Crab and Winkle Way takes you inland to the beautiful cathedral city of Canterbury (7 miles). Also, within easy reach are Herne Bay (5.5 miles) and Margate (19 miles).
