This stunning family holiday home has direct access to Seasalter beach and has been stylishly decorated and furnished in a relaxed way throughout for memorable getaways with friends or family.

This cosy cottage is situated right on the beach at Seasalter, with its quiet, shingle beach, it is ideal for sailing, swimming or a spot of birdwatching at the RSPB nature reserve directly opposite. Just a short drive from the property, is one of Kent’s most loved seaside towns: Whitstable – it’s famous for its oysters which are celebrated every July at the Oyster Festival and a fantastic place for those who enjoy eating out and sampling the local food. Why not take a bike ride along the seafront, or follow the Crab and Winkle Way or ride along the coast to Herne Bay. Nearby is the city of Canterbury, which is home to the country’s oldest Cathedral. Visit the ancient ruins of St Augustine's Abbey and St Martin's Church which form Canterbury's UNESCO World Heritage site.

Step inside this property and enter into a hallway where there is space for dropping off sandy shoes and hanging coats, and then head on through into the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with the most fantastic panoramic sea views. The kitchen area is well-equipped for family entertaining with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine, washing machine and dishwasher. The lounge area offers two comfy sofas, a Smart TV and DAB radio. The dining table with seating for four overlooks the rear beach garden and the wonderful views beyond. The property offers two bedrooms: a king-size and a twin bedroom and is competed with a shower room with shower and WC.

French doors open from the lounge area out to a decked area with dining table, chairs and charcoal BBQ, perfect for toasting marshmallows whilst star gazing in the evening. A garden gate at the end of the garden gives direct access to the beach. At the front of the property is parking for two cars.

Beautiful property couldnt be closer to the sea, great enclosed garden for the dog. Underfloor heating makes it very comfortable in all weathers. Perfectly situated for great days out to Hern Bay, Margate Ramsgate, Isle of Sheppey and many more, and of course a walk along the beach to wonderful Whitstable. All in all a great holiday destination.

Beautiful house, so clean and fully equiped for 4 people and our dog. Location is fab and they really have thought of everything you could possibly need, even had a dog bed and treats provided for our dog and a thoughtful welcome gift for us. Perfect location right on the beach. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful as was the evening swirl of small birds over the cottage. We even found ourselves entranced by the wind turbines. My son and I with my daughter's two teenage children spent a lovely week at the cottage. It was beautifully clean and everything we needed was there. Pure joy to listen to the sea. We sank into comfortable sofas to enjoy the view. The teenagers were keen to view the forts, and windfarms in the distance using the telescope. We enjoyed a lovely stay at this property. The location was perfect for a quiet getaway and offered stunning views from both inside the property and from the decking/garden area which leads to the beach. The property was gorgeous and flat levelled which was great for our elder relative. A lovely cottage in a fantastic location. The cottage is very modern with all amenities. The underfloor heating was great for the cooler days. The sea couldn't be much closer and always something to watch on the beach and at sea from the comfort of the cottage.

The house was perfectly what we needed for our first UK staycation. There are nicer beaches in the UK however opening the window to views of the sea every morning was very therapeutic. The house was impeccably clean and when the weather could not permit us to go out we unlocked a cupboard to find board games! How thoughtful. This property is well presented and equipped, spacious, clean and comfortable. The view and sunsets are fantastic from the lovely decked area, with wide stretching views. The garden access to the large pebble beach is not suitable for everyone, but there is easy access just 2mins walk away. Beach Retreat was SO beautifully fitted out, the layout and design made it very comfortable and relaxing. Easy to settle in, hard to leave! The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in for years! The view of course is superb, and we loved our stay.

We loved this property a beautiful getaway with panoramic views of the sea. The tide when it comes in is just outside the wall of the garden. Whitstable is one of Kent’s most popular seaside towns, not only for its long shingle beaches, dotted with colourful huts and houses, but also for its annual Oyster Festival, when the town really comes alive. Here you can sample this renowned delicacy which has been collected in the area since Roman times and brings visitors from all over the globe to get a glimpse of the first catch of the season. Still a working harbour, you can sample a plethora of seafood from the stalls and restaurants as you watch the fishing boats return from sea, or pop up to the bohemian main street with its quirky colourful shops and galleries. Keep to the seaside theme and hire bikes to ride along the coast to Herne Bay just two miles away, or try the famous inland Crab and Winkle Way, which follows the old railway line between Whitstable and Canterbury and is packed with history and nostalgia. Relax with lazy days at the beach, building sandcastles and exploring hidden rock pools or take a long walk along the vast stretch of shingle beach.
