Enjoying an enviable position overlooking Freshwater East Bay, this wonderful house is the perfect place for a memorable family holiday in this stunning part of South Wales.

Situated in the small, seaside village of Freshwater East, the property, with its uninterrupted sea views, is truly special . Nestled on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, Freshwater East has a village pub and cafe and its very own broad, sandy beach. Take the coastal path in either direction from here and you will stumble upon some of Pembrokeshire’s most beautiful spots. World-famous Barafundle Bay is within a 5-mile drive and the popular resorts of Tenby (9 miles) and Saundersfoot (11.5 miles) are not much further. For family days out, local attractions such as Folly Farm and Manor Park Zoo are within a 12-mile drive.

Enter this impressive house and find yourself in the spacious kitchen, where a welcome pack duly awaits. This space is fully equipped with everything you could need, including electric oven and gas range hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Adjoining the kitchen is a cosy snug, the perfect space to relax with a glass of wine or enjoy a film with the kids and the dogs, whilst the chef whips up a home-cooked meal. As you move through to the bright and airy duel-windowed lounge/diner, you will be wowed by the panoramic sea views. The perfect room for all of the family to socialise, there is a Smart TV and large double doors out onto the terrace so you can make the most of the stunning scenery. The property has the added benefit of a downstairs king-size bedroom, with an additional single bed, and an en-suite shower room with a shower and WC. To complete the ground floor is a bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Moving upstairs to the first floor you will find the spacious master bedroom with a super-king-size bed, en-suite shower room with shower and WC, and a balcony with beautiful views over the bay. There are a further four bedrooms - one king-size with an additional single bed, one double, one twin and a bunk bedroom. Finishing this wonderful home is a shower room with a shower and WC.

Step outside and breathe in the refreshing sea air whilst taking in these stunning surroundings. There is a lawned and leafy garden, perfect for children to play in, and a seating area to relax and enjoy al fresco dining. A large terrace wraps around the front of the property providing the ideal spot to sit in an evening, watch the sun descend and listen to the sound of the waves crashing upon the shoreline. There is also a private pathway from the bottom of the garden down to the sandy beach. Below the decking, an external utility room provides a washing machine, dishwasher and secure cycle storage. There is off-road parking for up to five cars.

Perfect location for relaxing. Beautiful views of Freshwater East beach can be seen from the property. The owners were very kind and helpful. The house is in close proximity of pubs and is only a short drive to Pembroke and Tenby. Would highly recommend staying here.

Whitstable is one of Kent’s most popular seaside towns, not only for its long shingle beaches, dotted with colourful huts and houses, but also for its annual Oyster Festival, when the town really comes alive. Here you can sample this renowned delicacy which has been collected in the area since Roman times and brings visitors from all over the globe to get a glimpse of the first catch of the season. Still a working harbour, you can sample a plethora of seafood from the stalls and restaurants as you watch the fishing boats return from sea, or pop up to the bohemian main street with its quirky colourful shops and galleries. Keep to the seaside theme and hire bikes to ride along the coast to Herne Bay just two miles away, or try the famous inland Crab and Winkle Way, which follows the old railway line between Whitstable and Canterbury and is packed with history and nostalgia. Relax with lazy days at the beach, building sandcastles and exploring hidden rock pools or take a long walk along the vast stretch of shingle beach. The area has lots of other beach walks, as well many country and woodland trails nearby, perfect for both you and the family dog! For a little culture, pay a visit to the town’s famous 18th century Castle and Gardens, Playhouse Theatre and Whitstable Museum and Gallery, all perfect for an afternoon or evening out. Only eight miles north of the cathedral city of Canterbury with its popular glass-fronted Marlowe Theatre, you are also just half an hour away from the up-and-coming seaside town of Margate and 45 minutes away from the port of Dover with its famous white cliffs. Slightly further afield, you will find the historic Cinque Ports towns of amongst others, Rye, Hastings and Tenterden where you will find a variety of spectacular monuments and beautiful castles to visit with all the family. Whitstable really is the perfect place for those who want to get back to how holidays used to be – full of fun, adventure and family.
